Delete your thePTE account
This page explains how to permanently request deletion of your thePTE account and the
data associated with it, whether you signed up on the thePTE app (iOS or Android) or on
thepte.com.
In the app
- Open thePTE app and go to the Profile tab.
- Sign in with the Google (or Apple) account you use with thePTE, if you aren't already signed in.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
On the web
- Go to thepte.com/login and sign in with the same email or Google
account you use in the app.
- Open your Profile, then choose Delete account and confirm.

What gets deleted
- Your account (name, email, sign-in link)
- Practice answers, transcripts, and speaking audio submitted for scoring
- Mock test attempts and score reports
- Subscription/entitlement record linked to your account
Deletion takes effect immediately: your account is deactivated and removed from view
across thePTE, and none of this data is used for any further purpose. Records are then
permanently erased from our systems as part of routine data hygiene. If you need
confirmation that a specific record has been permanently erased, contact us using the
email below and we'll confirm.
Account deletion cannot be undone through the app once confirmed. If you have an active
subscription purchased through Google Play or the App Store, deleting your thePTE account
does not cancel that subscription — cancel it separately in the Google Play or App Store
subscription settings to stop future billing.
