In order to get 79 each in the PTE test, one needs to do the following things:

1. Get the best PTE coaching

During my 6-year PTE coaching, I have seen English native speakers attending my class who scored only 50 in their speaking while preparing for the test by themselves. So if you do not know how to do the test, you may end up missing points in the same skill over and over again.

2. Practice makes perfect

Once you know the tricks and the templates, then practice is the name of the game. This test is about habit formation. Find a good PTE practice website and form those habits.

3. Prioritize your practice time

In the PTE test, speaking attracts the highest points. In the speaking section, Repeat Sentence is the most important item throughout the test. The second most important item is Write from Dictation of the listening section.

4. Do standardized PTE mock tests weeks before your PTE test

A good PTE mock test will give you a rough estimate of what your strongest and weakest points are. There are many PTE mock tests out there. Even the one provided by Pearson has no resemblance to their real one. In terms of content it is close, but not in terms of appearance. And the score you get is not an indicator of what you are going to get in the real test. Our free PTE mock test is very close to the real PTE test in terms of content and appearance.
