Yes, it does. The PTE test has 3 test items that will get you negative marking if you choose a wrong answer. These three test items are:

Listening: Multiple-choice, choose multiple answers  

PTE candidates will get 1-2 MCCMA questions in their PTE Listening module. To be able to easily distinguish these questions from other multiple choice answer questions, pay attention to the square next to each choice.

Highlight Incorrect Words

PTE candidates will get 2-3 HIW pages (questions) in their PTE Listening section. Each HIW page has 4-6 wrong words that PTE candidates need to highlight by clicking on them.
