At thePTE.com, we have made changes to our free PTE mock test and our set of 10 PTE mock tests to follow the new format of the PTE academic test effective from 16th of November 2021. These changes will be as follow:
No more optional break
The 10-minute optional break at the end of the Reading module and before the start of the Listening module has been deleted. There are several reasons why this section was the best choice, one of them is the distraction it caused for other candidates who preferred not to take their break, The other reason was that this time could have been used for leaking the question to outside. And finally a shorter test would be better for both the test center and the test-takers.

In the speaking module, the following test items got fewer questions.
In the Writing module, the following test items got fewer questions.
In the Reading module, the following test items got fewer questions.
In the Listening module, the following test items got fewer questions.
