The PTE test can last as short as 2 hours and 45 minutes to the longest 3 hours and 15 minutes. If one PTE candidate gets the fewest number of questions in each test item, then the test will finish at around 2 hours and 45 minutes. If a candidate gets the highest number of questions in every test item, then the PTE test can run as long as 3 hours and 15 minutes.
