To pass the PTE speaking test with a score of 79 or higher, you need to master the following sections of the PTE Speaking module, respectively:
Repeat Sentence
PTE candidates will get 10 to 12 Repeat Sentence (RS) questions in their PTE test. This section of the speaking module takes the lion’s share of the scores in the PTE test. This section shares its points with your Listening and Speaking skills.
Read Aloud
PTE candidates will have 5-6 Read Aloud passages in the PTE test. The score in this section is shared with your Reading and Speaking skills.
Describe Image
PTE candidates will have 5-6 Describe Images in their PTE test. The points in this section only goes to your Speaking skill.
Re-tell Lecture
PTE candidates will get 3-4 Re-tell Lecture questions in their PTE test. Your points in this section will be shared between Speaking and Listening skills.
Answer Short Questions
The number of questions in this section is 10-12 and the points you get from these questions will be shared with your Listening and Speaking skills.
