The difference between accent and pronunciation
Pronunciation refers to the way we enunciate (pronounce) each syllable of a word. This pronunciation can be correct as in ‘wow’ if during the production you round your lips and pronounce the word without your lips touching each other. And it could be wrongly pronounced if you your lower lip touches your upper teeth as in ‘vow’ which is a different word from ‘wow’.
Accent is the language rhythm and melody which distinguishes different variations of the same language such as Irish or British accents.
